- Choice offers program membership to individuals 18 years or older only and not to corporations or other entities. You may establish and maintain only one Member account.
- After reviewing your completed Member application, Choice will provide you with a Member number. When you receive your Member number, Choice will inform you when you are eligible to receive Hotel Benefits and earn points. Choice will not apply Choice Privileges points or Airline Rewards or Amtrak Guest Rewards points, or provide you with Hotel Benefits before processing your application and activating your Member number.
You must maintain a U.S. (including U.S. territories), Canada, Europe, Mexico or Australasia (including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Papua New Guinea and Fiji) address to be a Member, receive hotel benefits designated below ("Hotel Benefits"), earn and redeem points, and receive Program statements. - You earn Choice Privileges points or Airline Rewards or Amtrak Guest Rewards points for individual travel on the following qualifying rate plans (SRPs). - You must be a U.S. active duty or reserve military member, retired military, National Guard, U.S. Coast Guard or eligible spouse/dependant with appropriate military identification over the age of 18, to qualify for the Choice Privileges Armed Services program. Choice Hotels reserves the right to disqualify anyone from the Choice Privileges Armed Services program, who does not fulfill the membership requirements at any time. (U.S. only)

- You may use the Program Line in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Mexico, Australasia and the Caribbean only.
- The Choice Business Rate cannot be combined with any other discount or promotional offers.

You can also earn points through our partner programs.
- As a Member, you are the only person who may earn points for your account.
- In order to receive Choice Privileges points for your stays in Hawaii, you must make your reservations at choicehotels.com or by calling 800.4CHOICE and provide your Choice Privileges member number.
- A "stay" is defined as any number of consecutive nights at one hotel regardless of check-ins or check-outs.
- You earn points for up to two rooms per night at the same hotel. Both rooms must be in your name and include your member number. You must stay in one of the rooms and the rooms must be paid in full. You only receive any applicable bonus points on one room. Elite members only earn Elite status on one room per stay.
- If your individual hotel bill is billed directly to a company and you are responsible for authorization of settlement at check-out, your stay is eligible for Choice Privileges points when you pay an eligible rate. However, group master-billing arrangements where charges for multiple rooms are placed on one hotel bill and billed to a company or common address or settled at check-out by one individual are not eligible.
- If both you and another Member share a room, Choice will credit points to the Member reserving and staying in the room.
- You do not earn points for complimentary rooms, rooms paid for as part of a convention or meeting, or rooms booked through a travel agent as a part of wholesale packages or series tours.
- You earn 10 points for each whole U.S. dollar that you pay in full in room revenue when paying qualifying rates, excluding taxes, restaurant or other incidental charges at Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion, Cambria Suites and Ascend Collection hotels in the U.S., Canada, Europe (excluding Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden), Mexico and the Caribbean.
- 9.1. In Australasia (including Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Fiji), you earn 10 points for each whole U.S. dollar. Eligible charges include: accommodation, tax, restaurant, bar charges, laundry and phone calls. Points are not earned on conference costs or tours and packages purchased via your room account. Points are also not earned on purchases from retail outlets.
- You earn 5 points for each whole U.S. dollar that you pay in full in room revenue when paying qualifying rates, excluding taxes, restaurant or other incidental charges at MainStay Suites, Suburban Extended Stay Hotel, Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn locations in the U.S. and Canada.
- Allow 72 hours after checking out of hotels in the U.S. and Canada for points to post to your account. Allow 20 days after checking out of hotels in Europe, Mexico, Australasia and the Caribbean for points to post to your account.
- Choice Privileges points expire on December 31, two years after the year in which they were deposited into your account unless forfeited or canceled earlier due to membership inactivity or otherwise in accordance to these rules and regulations.
- You may not earn Choice Privileges points, Airline Rewards and Amtrak Guest Rewards points for the same stay. You must choose either Choice Privileges points, or Airline Rewards, or Amtrak Guest Rewards points and notify the hotel of your preference upon check-in.

- Enterprise Rent-A-Car (U.S., Canadian and European residents only)
- 5.1. You can only earn points with Enterprise Rent-a-Car® when making reservations online or by calling 866-272-8311. Subject to terms and conditions.
- 5.2. Allow 4-6 weeks after your Enterprise Rent-A-Car transaction is complete for points to post to your account.

- Online Mall (U.S. residents only)
- 7.1. The DataBase Group ("DBG") manages and operates the Choice Privileges Online Mall website and program (the "Program") enabling members of the Program to earn points ("Points") for qualifying purchases made through the Choice Privileges Online Mall website. The Program and awards are made available strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis. DBG makes no warranties express or implied that the Program will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- 7.2. Please refer to each Merchant's website for all terms and conditions relating to the merchant transaction, including but not limited to, guarantees, warranties, payment terms, shipping, delivery, taxes, return policies and processing of returns. We make no warranties and disclaim responsibility for fulfillment of the transaction between you and a participating or direct merchant. DBG will make reasonable efforts to respond to any inquiries made by you within 30 days.
- 7.3. We will award Points for qualifying purchases through participating merchants on the website. All qualifying purchases will accrue Points per the earning schedule displayed for each merchant. Members should read each offer carefully as certain exclusions may apply. Purchases by customers with a billing address outside the United States, or which involve shipment of items outside of the United States, may not qualify for awards. Points shall be awarded only on the net purchase amount, which is reported by the participating merchant (less any taxes and/or shipping charges). Awards shall be posted to the member's account no sooner than 45 days and no later than 60 days from the date of shipment. - Choice may modify the points listed in your Program account based on actual stay information.
- If you have questions about a Program statement, stay, or points for a stay, you must contact the Choice Service Center within 60 days of the statement date. You must provide the Choice Service Center with your hotel receipt indicating your paid stay, plus your Member number, and other appropriate and unaltered documentation. Once received, please allow up to 15 days to process your request.
- You should retain all stay documentation until you receive your Program quarterly statement showing that Choice credited points to your Program account.
- You will receive a quarterly statement either via mail or electronically only when you have earned or redeemed points during the previous quarter.
- You are responsible for understanding the Program rules, tracking your points and maintaining the security of your account.
- Choice and its travel partners are not responsible for delayed, lost or misdirected mail, quarterly statements or other correspondence.
- If you do not earn points during 3 consecutive months, Choice may remove you from the Program's active mailing list.
- If you have no activity for a period of 18 consecutive months, Choice may remove you from the Program and therefore terminate your account. If Choice removes you from the Program, you will forfeit your points.
- Choice may terminate the program at any time without prior notice.
- If Choice terminates the program, you must redeem your points for Rewards and complete your reward stays within six months after the Program End to avoid forfeiting your points.

By submitting your personal information and agreeing to become a Choice Privileges Member, you consent to Choice and its affiliates using and sharing personal information about you for the purposes of administering your account(s), and for offering and providing rewards, benefits, products, goods, and services to you in connection with the Program. "Affiliates" are companies that (i) are owned or controlled by Choice, including Choice Hotels Canada, Inc., Choice Hotels Licensing B.V., Choice Hotels Franchise GmbH, Choice Hotels France SAS and Choice Hotels de Mexico, or (ii) have entered into master franchise relationships with Choice, such as Cordelle Enterprises Limited (dba Choice Hotels Ireland), and Choice Hotels A/S (dba Choice Hotels Scandinavia). If you do not consent to your data being used and shared in the manner and for the purposes set out above, you will not be able to participate in the Choice Privileges program or receive information about the rewards, benefits, products, goods, and services we provide in connection with the Program.
- Choice and its affiliates may share personal information with third parties engaged to assist them in providing services to you or to carry out one of the business purposes described above. These service providers are prohibited from using your personal information for any purpose other than to provide this assistance and are required to protect personal information disclosed by Choice.
- If you elect to earn Airline Rewards, Amtrak Guest Rewards points or other benefits with Program partners or redeem points for Program partner rewards, you authorize Choice and its affiliates to share your personal information with such Program partners to the extent necessary to complete your request.
- To the extent required or permitted by law, Choice and its affiliates may collect, use and disclose your personal information in connection with security related or law enforcement investigations or in the course of cooperating with authorities or complying with legal requirements.
- By becoming a Choice Privileges Member, you authorize Choice and its affiliates to contact you via E-mail and postal mail with Program administrative and transactional information.
- Choice and its affiliates may occasionally contact you via E-mail (except for European residents who have not consented) and via postal mail about Program promotions, special offers, discounts, airline miles bonuses, or contests. If you would prefer not to receive these communications, you may instruct Choice to remove your name and address as specified in #8 below.
- Except for European residents, Choice and its affiliates may occasionally share your personal information for marketing purposes to companies that are business associates, which may include airlines, hotels, retailers, telecommunications companies, credit card companies, banks and financial institutions, affinity membership program operators, restaurants, tradeshow operators, magazines and other publishers, and charitable organizations. For Canadian and Australasian residents, only basic contact information will be disclosed. You may instruct Choice not to share your personal information as specified in #8 below.
- You may withdraw your consent and opt-out of receiving promotions and offers as described in #6 above or having your personal information shared with business associates as described in #7 above by one of the following methods:

Please note that some of these countries to which your personal data may be transferred may not have the equivalent level of protection of personal data as that of your country of origin.

If applicable, Choice will disclose this information to the person concerned or rectify it promptly. In order to gain access to your personal information, please contact our Privacy Officer as described in #8.
