| Things To Do: Plays-In-The-Park26 - 27 Dec 2009 (various dates)Plays-In-The-Park is held annually in Edison's Roosevelt Park Amphitheater. The event is a unique government-sponsored theatre performing musicals during the summer in a 2500-seat, open-air amphitheatre with full orchestras and productions. There are also special shows in the winter around Christmas. The initiative, which began with a group of community theatre volunteers, is now more than 42 years old and continues to go from strength to strength, attracting over 150,000 people each summer.
