Terms and Conditions

1. choicehotels.com and Choice brand websites guarantee to provide the best online bookable rate available to the public on the Internet. Competing rate from another Internet source must be a publicly available rate.


2. Negotiated rates including, but not limited to, group rates, package rates, coupons, and membership rates, such as AAA, AARP, and Government, are not included and do not qualify for this offer.


3. Guarantee will be applicable to ALL Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Clarion, Cambria Suites, Sleep Inn, MainStay Suites, Suburban Extended Stay, Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn brand hotels worldwide.


4. Competing rate must be lower than the rate on choicehotels.com or one of our brand websites. It must be publicly available, viewable and bookable on another website for the same hotel, and for the same room type, same dates and length of stay, same number of guests, and in the same currency.


5. The Best Internet Rate Guarantee is limited solely to the rental rate for the room and it does not apply to taxes, gratuities, guest incidental charges, or other similar charges at any Choice hotel.


6. Rates found on opaque or auction sites, including sites where the hotel brand and the specific hotel are not known until the booking is made, are not included or eligible for the guarantee.


7. Guest must have a confirmed reservation made on choicehotels.com or one of our brand websites.


8. Guest must inform Choice of the lower rate by filling out and submitting the online claim form within 24 hours after booking a hotel room which also must be at least 72 hours prior to their scheduled arrival at any hotel.


9. If confirmed, Choice will honor the competing rate plus give an additional 10% discount off that rate upon verification. If there is a rate available on choicehotels.com or one of our brand websites that is the same or lower than the rate on the other website, the choicehotels.com rate will be offered instead.


10. Any changes made to a reservation after the erate is approved, will make the best internet rate guarantee null and void.


11. Program subject to change or revocation at any time.


12. The total number of Choice Privileges points will be based on the room rate actually paid by you upon check out.


13. Should any dispute arise with respect to this guarantee, the laws of Maryland, U.S.A. will apply in settling the matter.
