Horse Racing & Slots

For half a century, racing fans have placed their bets at Delaware Park, 4 1/2 miles south of Wilmington, off I-95 Exit 4B, Stanton (tel. 800/41SLOTS or 302/994-2521). Thoroughbred racing is offered April through November; post time is 12:45pm. Simulcast racing is offered year-round. A wide variety of coin-operated and video slot machines are available for 5¢ to $10 per play. There are also restaurants and entertainment on weekends. Open Monday through Saturday from 8am to 4am, Sunday from noon to 4am.
