Getting There

St. Albans is easily reached from London. The rail connection, ThamesLink, takes you from London's King Cross to St. Albans in just 20 minutes. From London, Green Line coach no. 724 also runs to St. Albans frequently (Green Line buses to St. Albans depart only from Heathrow airport). If you're driving, take the M25 Junction 21A or 22; M1 Junctions 6, 7, or 9; and A1 (M) Junction 3.

Visitor Information

The Tourist Information Centre is at the Town Hall, Market Place (tel. 01727/864511). From Easter to October, its hours are Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm; off-season hours are Monday to Saturday 10am to 4pm. From the end of July until mid-September, the office is also open most Sundays 10am to 4pm.
