Getting There -- From Salt Lake City and Ogden, take I-15 north to exit 362, then follow U.S. 89/91 northeast about 24 miles to downtown Logan. Those flying to Salt Lake City can arrange transportation with the Cache Valley Limo's Airport Shuttle (tel. 800/658-8526 or 435/563-6400). Two-days notice is recommended; round-trip fares are $82, one-way is $46. Visitor Information -- The Cache Valley Tourist Council's Visitor Information Center is located at 160 N. Main St., Logan, UT 84321 (tel. 800/882-4433 or 435/752-2161; fax 435/753-5825). It's open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Getting Around -- As with most Utah cities, Logan is laid out on a grid, with the center at the intersection of Main (north to south) and Center (east to west). Tabernacle Square is the block to the northeast of the intersection. U.S. 89/91 enters town on a diagonal from the southwest, along the golf course at the south end of town. Utah State University is located on the northeast side of town, north of U.S. 89 between 700 and 1400 East. The Logan Transit District Transportation System, or LTD (tel. 435/752-2877), is a free citywide bus service. Buses run Monday through Friday 6:30am to 9:30pm and Saturday 9:30am to 6:30pm, except major holidays.
