  1. From the "search hotels" form, enter a city name or point of interest into the "City or Point of Interest" box. Choosing a state and/or country is optional; click the "Go" button.
  2. From the Hotel List page, you may click on the hotel name or "Check Rooms & Rates" for each of the hotels on the list. Selecting the hotel name will present the hotel's eBrochure including phone number, photos, map, nearby attractions, etc. Selecting "Check Rooms & Rates" will present a Check Room Availability form for your arrival Information.
  3. From the Check Room Availability page, enter your check in and check out dates, number of adults, children, and desired Rate Program. Click the "Show Available Room and Rates" button to display rates for the information you have entered.
  4. If the hotel has available rooms that match your Arrival Information, a list of rooms and their rates will display.  Be sure to read the room description and look for "Accessible Features".  Click the "Book this Room" button next to the room type you wish to reserve.  Note: if you don't see the words "accessible features" in any room description, these room types have all been reserved for the dates(s) requested and are therefore not available.
  5. From the Enter Guest Data page, verify all information is correct, and make any necessary changes. If you would like to add another room to your reservation, click on the "Add Another Room" link.
  6. Fill in all required fields on the Enter Guest Data form. Once you have finished, click the "Reserve Room" button ONCE, then please wait for a reply. You will receive a confirmation number within one (1) minute. Please make a record of the number in case you need to make any changes to your reservation in the future. You will receive an e-mail confirmation within five (5) minutes if you provided an e-mail address when filling in your Guest Information.

To view, change or cancel a reservation online, click on "View/Change Reservation" at the top of the page. You can use this form to view reservations made online at choicehotels.com, or made by phone with a Choice Hotels reservations sales representative, as long as you have:

  • Guest Last Name
  • Confirmation number or the credit card number that you used to guarantee the reservation
  • A Netscape, Microsoft, or other security-enabled (SSL) web browser.

(If you made a reservation directly with a hotel, you will need to call the hotel directly to ask about the reservation.)

Yes, your credit card is required to guarantee your room. When you reserve your room with a credit card, the room is held for you regardless of your arrival time. This means the hotel is required to hold your room for you until 7AM the morning following your date of arrival.

Your credit card is not charged for your stay prior to your arrival unless the hotel has a prepayment or deposit requirement. Prepayment and deposit requirements are displayed for hotels during the CONFIRMATION process. A warning will display if the hotel requires a deposit or prepayment.

An online profile is a personalized profile that stores your name, address, and credit card information in a secure manner. You may use this profile to expedite reservations by signing in to the site with a User Name and Password. Your personalized profile data will pre-fill the reservation form. Any visitor to choicehotels.com may create a profile. Choice Privileges members may also view their point balance and most recent stays online.

  • You may not have created an online profile yet. Click here to Create a Profile.  All customers, including Choice Privileges members, need to create an online profile to sign in.
  • You may have entered an incorrect User Name or Password. If you have forgotten your User Name or your Password, click here.  
  • Your User Name and Password are case sensitive. You may have entered one or more characters of your User Name or Password with the incorrect case, or you may have your Caps Lock turned on. Please verify your entry and check your Caps Lock setting.
