The backdrop to numerous films, Miami is a truly cinematic city. The Miami Short Film Festival presents some of the best international shorts of the past year at cinemas all over the city, with a party on the final day.
As well as the usual awards for Best Documentary, Best Experimental Film and Best Narrative Short Film, there are screenings every day, plus a celebration after the last day's events. Grand prize is US$12,000.
