|  |  Bele Chere FestivalBele Chere is a free outdoor street festival in downtown Asheville that attracts 350,000 people to enjoy live music and entertainment on six stages. There's also a huge Playland for kids, an Arts Park and onsite sports, games and activities.In the Bele Chere Urban Challenge, 12 contestants live on Challenge Island in the middle of the festival for the full three days. Competitions test their skill, strength and creative thinking, until the group is narrowed down and only one is left standing - the Ultimate Urban Challenger.
