|  |  Days of `76For five days in July the historic Wild West town of Deadwood opens its doors for the annual Days of `76. The fun-filled event features rodeo performances, an historic parade, a carnival and a Western arts and crafts festival.The festival draws around 20,000 visitors and 650 professional cowboys partake in competitions. One main highlight is the Days of '76 Parade. The three-mile procession is held on Main Street. It features the Deadwood Stage, regional bands, cowboys and cowgirls of today and yesterday and a great variety of historic floats and vehicles. |
