Every Saturday from May to December, Washington's farmers set up their stalls on 18th Street for the city's Farmers' Market. The tempting smell of fresh food fills the air of the Adams Morgan neighbourhood from early in the morning.
Fruit, vegetables, herbs and potatoes are on offer, as well as bread and giant muffins, farm-fresh cheese and jam. Make sure you come early, as everything goes by 1pm.
