| | Livermore Pro RodeoLivermore Pro Rodeo, at Robertson Park, claims to be the "World's Fastest Rodeo" and features bronc and bull riding, roping and steer wrestling. More sedately, there is also a Rodeo Queen contest and steer decoration. The event was first staged during the First World War as a fund-raising exercise, but quickly galvanised the local and wider communities, partly due to the fact that Universal Studios filmed it for early newsreels. Over subsequent years, Livermore has acquired a purpose-built arena and the rodeo has grown in stature to become one of the major events of the year.
