Monterey Bay Blues Festival
Return to previous Page ›The Monterey Bay Blues Festival, held at the Monterey Fairgounds, was started in 1986 and has become one of the leading blues festivals in America. Past performers include Joe Louis Walker, Shemekia Copeland and Buddy Guy.
Fiercely independent, the festival awards in excess of US$100,000 in grants each year to community youth who are pursuing their dream in the field of music, visual and performing arts. The festival sees performances spread across three stages.
