|  | Carnival of FlowersThe annual Carnival of Flowers brings beautiful blooms, street entertainment and a fashion show to the town of Toowoomba. Don't miss the Grand Central Floral Parade on the second day, complete with floral floats, stilt walkers and marching bands.In 2009, the festival celebrates its 60th anniversary with special Diamond celebrations. There's open-air cinema in Laurel Bank Park, live music concerts and a food and wine festival in Upper Queens Park and all manner of fairground rides in Queens Park.
