It kicks off with a two day art sale showing paintings, sculptures and drawings. After the sale works continue to be exhibited in the museum for a further month.Sale attendees submit intent-to-purchase slips rather than place bids as they would at a regular auction. The first person drawn from these slips has the option to purchase the work of art allowing both collectors and first time buyers an equal footing. |
