The Great Steamboat Race

With only six authentic steamboats remaining in operation throughout the United States, the Great Steamboat Race is a unique event. The competition takes place along 14 miles of the Ohio River, which is lined with spectators.
Predominantly a two-horse race between the home favourite, the Belle of Louisville and Belle of Cincinnati, the event has occasionally featured other boats.
