Artsplosure's New Year celebrations in Raleigh, North Carolina include musical, dance and theatre performances from 7pm and music on an outdoor stage (starting at 10.30pm). Fireworks provide a traditional finale.
First Night Raleigh actually begin at 2pm at the North Carolina Museums of History and Natural Sciences and Bicentennial Plaza, where there are special children's activities. A People's Procession starts at 6pm at the State Capitol Building, including music, fireworks and the Raleigh Acorn Drop for families who wish to end their New Year's Eve early.
