Over 100,000 enthusiastic people turn out each year to enjoy the fun at Milwaukee's St Patrick's Day Parade. Nearly 150 separate "units" join the march, along with clowns, local politicians and celebrities, bagpipers, marching bands and Irish and Celtic organisations.
The parade starts in front of the Grand Avenue Mall on 3rd and Wisconsin, then heads east to Plankinton before turning north to Kilbourn, west on Kilbourn to Old World 3rd Street, north to Juneau, east on Juneau and finally south down Water Street.
