The Tulip Festival in Washington Park is something of an institution in Albany, New York, having taken place for more than half a century. Thousands of blooms reflect the area's Dutch heritage.
The festival features entertainment on three stages and a special KidZone. The crowning of the Albany Tulip Queen (for many the highlight of the festival) is at noon on Saturday.
