|  |  Green FestivalDubbed "the party with a purpose", Green Festival at the Concourse Exhibition Center in San Francisco, California, welcomes green businesses and visionary speakers to cover a range of aspects regarding sustainable living.Organised by two non-profit organisations: The Global Exchange and Co-Op America, Green Festival travels to other cities in the US, namely Seattle (March), Chicago (May), Denver (May) and Washington DC (October). The San Francisco festival is by far the biggest, with an extra day added for a range of events. Past guest speakers include Alice Walker and Medea Benjamin.
