Colombian artist Fernando Botero is known for his unique voluminous forms and sensuous figures. With a display of over 100 paintings, sculptures and drawings, dating from the 1950s to the present day, the artist is celebrated at the Bowers Museum.
Fernando Botero's work often explore themes like religion, politics, and history, both from a critical as well as comical perspective. The pieces on display at The Baroque World of Fernando Botero come from Botero's personal collection and offer visitors an opportunity to view many works previously never exhibited.
