The meeting is a true feast of jump racing, and features the King George VI Chase, made famous by Desert Orchid's hat-trick of wins in 1988-90.The 2009 William Hill Winter Festival could see history being made. Kauto Star, winner of the King George VI Chase three times running, goes for his fourth straight victory. If successful, Kauto Star would break Desert Orchid's 19-year record.
The occasion promises to be the highlight of a great weekend of jump racing, which features three Grade 1 races on the Saturday. |
