|  | Maine International Film FestivalSee some entertaining movies at the Maine International Film Festival, held in the charming city of Waterville. The ten-day festival features competitions, screenings and symposiums. It is a non-profit, non-competitive event that screens over 50 independent films each year.It also tries to bring film personnel for discussions and informal Q&A sessions about their films, as well as honouring leading lights in the world of independent film with one-off awards and retrospectives. Since 1998, the festival has also incorporated the Maine Student Film and Video Festival.
