|  | WTA Tour - Pilot Pen TennisThe Pilot Pen Tennis tournament attracts many of the world's top women tennis players to the fantastic Connecticut Tennis Center on the Yale university campus.Although this tournament only moved to New Haven in 1998, it was formerly known as the USTA Hardcourts and has been one of the major stops on the worldwide WTA Tour since 1988. Past champions include Steffi Graf (1988, 1991, 1998), Monica Seles (1990), Martina Navratilova (1992), Lindsay Davenport (1997) and, of course, Venus Williams (1999-2002). |
