|  |  Buffalo Bayou RegattaThe Buffalo Bayou Regatta invites families down to Sesquicentennial Park on Houston's waterfront for a variety of activities, races and parades. Events include Texas' largest canoe and kayak race, a riverside picnic and educational activities for children of all ages.Beginning at the San Felipe Bridge, the Buffalo Bayou Regatta starts with the canoe and kayak race, which finishes 15 miles later at Sesquicentennial Park. Here, participants enjoy the rest of the day's entertainment, beginning with the post-race Picnic in the Park, during which regatta winners are announced.
After lunch, the Buffalo Bayou Regatta's Anything That Floats Parade takes place. |
