Young Music Scene Concert

Young musicians from throughout Germany perform at the showcase Young Music Scene Concert at Berlin's famous Quasimodo music hall. The concert is part of the Berlin Festival, and is the climax of nationwide competitions that take place from August onwards.
The final concert features a wide variety of musical styles from winners in the nationwide competitions. Out of more than 200 songs, 11 "remarkably outstanding" pieces are chosen and their composers invited to attend the five-day workshop which precedes the concert, and then to perform at the event itself.
