Trailer loading and cattle sorting are the sorts of event that you'll see during this fun-filled day in which ten teams tough it out to show off their ranch-running skills at the American Royal Center.
Taking place in the Kemper Arena, this rodeo is the Women's National Championship which means that spirits run high. The action will be fast-paced and the livestock unpredictable, as these women demonstrate the skill, teamwork and grit it takes to work on a real ranch.
The American Royal produces a whole season of shows in the autumn of each year, including one of the world's biggest open barbecue contests and one of the nation's top rodeos.
