|  | Salem Arts Fair and FestivalThe Salem Arts Fair and Festival is Oregon's largest arts festival, held in the beautiful Bush's Pasture Park in Salem. Dancing, juggling, music, drumming, comedy, pottery-making and plenty of art is on show throughout the three days.The humble beginnings of this event in 1941 (as the Country Art Fair) saw it held on the lawns of Bush Park House, where artists would hang their works on washing lines between oak trees. These days, utilising over 3000 volunteers, the event sells approximately US$750,000 worth of art. |
