Return to previous Page ›Translated, the name of this annual festival in Haugesund means "herring jazz", but nonetheless Sildajazz is one of Norway's most important jazz festivals. Concerts take place at venues ranging from concert halls to clubs and "seawarehouses".
Last year's line-up included Herbie Hancock and Lee Ritenour. The programme also offers art exhibitions, a sailing competition and trips to neighbouring small islands.
