|  |  Scotia Festival of MusicFirst held in 1980, the Scotia Festival of Music is an annual chamber music festival held at various venues in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Concerts each evening are complemented by workshops, open rehearsals, masterclasses and recitals.Each year the event appoints resident artists and ensembles. Previous years have seen Canada's own period instrument Baroque orchestra, Tafelmusik, fulfil the role.
