Interlaken's youth mark the new year with Harder Potschete. They parade through the streets wearing elaborately carved masks, accompanied by noisy drum corps and bands. The party continues at night to Swiss folk music in the town's squares and restaurants. |

The hills are alive as Interlaken hosts the Jungfrau Music Festival. Brass bands, philharmonic orchestras, wind orchestras and youth bands take to the stage. Set in the beautiful Bernese Oberland, Interlaken brings together established, experimental and new musical talent. |
