The Beauceron Maple Festival celebrates the traditional production of the region's maple syrup. Part of the cultural heritage of the Beaucerons, syrup-making not only lays in a store of the aromatic, sweet stuff, it also heralds the welcome return of spring. For ten days the town of Saint-Georges celebrates with a mixture of food fairs, parades, music and, of course, stand after stand of delicious syrupy pancakes. |
