| Content Provided by Frommer's® | Boat Tours Murphy's on the Water (tel. 902/420-1015) runs two daily boats from Cable Wharf in downtown Halifax daily in summer for C$16 (US$14) and up round-trip. A faster (and less expensive) route is to drive to Eastern Passage (south of Dartmouth), park free at Government Wharf, and take the McNab's Island Ferry (tel. 800/326-4563 or 902/465-4563). For the brief trip, the captain charges C$10 (US$8) adults, C$8 (US$5) ages 4 to 15, free for children under 4, and there's no extra charge for bikes or dogs. |
