Getting There

By Car -- Burlington is located on east-west I-70, 13 miles from the Kansas border. U.S. 385, which runs the length of Colorado's eastern frontier, makes a north-to-south pass through the town.

Visitor Information

The Colorado Welcome Center is along I-70 beside Burlington Old Town (tel. 800/288-1334 or 719/346-5554), and is open daily from 9am to 5pm Monday through Saturday, noon to 5pm Sundays. Getting Around

The town lies on the north side of I-70. Rose Avenue (U.S. 24) runs east-west through the center of Burlington. Main north-south streets are Eighth Street (U.S. 385 north) on the east side of town, 14th Street (which locals call Main St.), and Lincoln Street (U.S. 385 south) on the west side of town.
