| Things To Do:  America's Thanksgiving Parade®26 Nov 2009 (annual)America's Thanksgiving Parade® first marched down Detroit's Woodward Avenue in 1924. With the exception of a war-time break, it has attracted huge crowds every year since. Expect amazing floats, live entertainment and supporting events including and the Hob Nobble Gobble®. Other highlights include the Turkey Trot 10K run, the Stuffing Strut and the Mashed Potato Mile! All three events are held annually and have welcomed a range of runners over the years, many in colourful attires.
