| Things To Do:  Annual Cowboy Artists of America Exhibition & SaleOct - Nov 2010 (annual)Each year the Phoenix Art Museum hosts one of the country's premier Western American art events. It kicks off with a two day art sale showing paintings, sculptures and drawings. After the sale works continue to be exhibited in the museum for a further month. Sale attendees submit intent-to-purchase slips rather than place bids as they would at a regular auction. The first person drawn from these slips has the option to purchase the work of art allowing both collectors and first time buyers an equal footing. |
