| Things To Do: Wendy's Three-Tour ChallengeNov 2010 (annual)Top players from the PGA Tour, Senior PGA Tour and LPGA Tour compete against each other in this made-for-television event at the Rio Secco Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada. Billed as the Three-Tour challenge, three players from each tour form teams to compete against each other largely for bragging rights, although there's also a prize of US$1,000,000. The LPGA team of Natalie Gulbis, Cristie Kerr and Morgan Pressel was victorious in 2007.
The real winner here is the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption - in 2007 the event raised nearly four million dollars for the charity named after the founder of Wendy's Restaurants. |
