One of 12 new favourite marathons listed by Runner's World, the Salt Lake City Marathon winds its way around Utah city, starting from the Olympic Legacy Bridge and finishing at the Olympic Legacy Plaza at The Gateway.
Salt Lake City Marathon encompasses a full marathon, half marathon, bike tour, 5km run and the Intermountain Kids Marathon. All competitors must pre-register (details are available on the website) and a Quality of Life Expo runs concurrently with the races. The event helps to earn thousands of dollars for charitable causes.
