The Hollywood Film Festival aims to discover emerging independent filmmakers. The main competition accepts features, shorts and animated films, with up to 50 selected as finalists and screened at venues including the ArcLight Cinemas.
After debuting in 1997, the Hollywood Film Festival got the all-important local thumbs-up from the Hollywood Reporter and the Bible of Boffo itself, Variety.
The main festival venue is the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. The Hollywood Film Screenings are held at Arclight Cinemas/Cinerama Dome, while the Hollywood Film Awards ceremony takes place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The event culminates with the presentation of the Hollywood Film Awards.
