| Biking -- The Kettle Valley Railway's Myra Canyon route near Kelowna lost over half of its 18 trestle bridges during the Okanagan wild fires in 2003. The central part of the route remains closed though work proceeds on rebuilding the trestles. Inquire at Sports Rent, 3000 Pandosy St. (tel. 250/861-5699), for other mountain biking routes in the area, including detours that link the intact beginning and ending stretches of the Kettle Valley Railroad route. |
