Standing a full 8ft taller than Niagara Falls, the wild waters of Montmorency Falls cascade down a sheer cliff side, a sight you can witness from observation decks, a cable car, or even a suspension bridge that hangs right above the falls. Winter travellers can also tear down the slopes of Le Massif de Charlevoix ski area, featuring a 7.5km run specifically for sleds down the side of Mont Liguori. After a day skiing or sledding, you can relax with a hot chocolate in the chalet and dinner at restaurants like Café Du Café.

 

History buffs can also cross the bridge to Île d'Orléans, and explore the one of the first settled locations in North America, where Quebecois culture was born.
