Take the guided tour of the house for a sense of what low country society was like before the Civil War. You will learn how ladies sat in their hoop skirts and where one put the pesky bones when eating fish at a formal meal.After you visit the plantation, take some time out for Lady Jane’s Shrimp and Dolphin Cruise. Sit back and enjoy fabulous boiled shrimp while a naturalist gives you a talk on the various sea mammals, fish, and birds you are seeing, including information about ecology and conservation.
