Comfort Inn Sydney - Cape Breton

The Port of Sydney features a revitalized waterfront district with unique shops, galleries and museums located along the boardwalk, like The Kilted Moose Trading Company and Two Macs Gallery. The waterfront is also home to the World’s Largest Fiddle, a 60ft tall Celtic fiddle built to commemorate Cape Breton’s Scottish and Irish heritage, step dancing in particular!

Visitors to our Sydney, NS hotel can also visit the Fortress of Louisburg National Historic Site, one of Cape Breton’s most popular attractions. A French fortress dating back to 1713, Louisburg played a pivotal role in the colonial struggles between the French and British and came under siege twice. Today, Louisburg serves as a living history museum where costumed performers teach visitors about what it was like to serve at a fort in the 18^th century.
