Now it is a ghost town—albeit with summer residents in more modern cottages—with several old buildings that you can explore and an old-west history that reads better than most fiction.For a breathtaking hike in under two hours, head out to the Dillon Pinnacles where you will get a fantastic view of the Blue Mesa Reservoir and, of course, the Pinnacles (formations that resulted from a volcanic flow) themselves.
