Located in Southeastern Ohio, St. Clairsville offers a variety of options for outdoor enthusiasts. The National Road Bikeway is a rail trail that stretches more than seven miles. It features two nature trails and a gazebo, and it’s the only rail trail in Ohio with a tunnel. Go for a walk or ride a bicycle along this scenic trail! If you’d like to see Ohio as many of the early European settlers saw it, take a trip along the Red and Blue Trails. This 1.5 mile journey goes through Ohio’s largest tract of virgin forest—featuring ancient oaks, tulip poplars and other plant life in these undisturbed woods. Want to enjoy a day of fishing? Head to Belmont Lake to cast your line.
