While you are still thinking about history, think about seeing the 1890 House Museum, an excellent example of a wealthy industrialist’s home from the Victorian era—in this case, the inventor of window screens (which he called “wire cloth”). Stained glass windows and shining woodwork help you get a feel for the lifestyle of the social class. If you enjoy country music and are visiting over a weekend, then head over to the Cortland Country Music Park for live bands, square dancing and more.
