To ensure the security of our guests and hotel, all credit and debit cards must match a valid photo ID at check-in to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with industry standards. Additionally, we place a pre-authorization hold on the card to cover the estimated cost of the stay and a $200 deposit (on the card provided or cash) for incidentals or damages. This hold is not an actual deduction from the guest's account, however with debit cards the funds may be deducted from the account and show pending. For this reason, we strongly discourage the use of any pre-paid cards such as, Chime, Venmo, Cash App, etc. Any unused funds from the authorization are released, though it may take 3-10 business days for the guest's bank to process. The $200 deposit is refundable if no extra charges occur, ensuring a smooth, secure transaction for both the guest and the hotel.
