NEW NAME, SAME GREAT EVENTS
When it was built, The Dome at America’s Center became a major part of the America’s Center Convention Complex. The other facilities in the complex include the Cervantes Convention Center, St. Louis Executive Conference Center and the Ferrara Theatre. The Dome served as home to the city’s pro football team from 1995 through 2015, before the team relocated back to Los Angeles in 2016.
Beyond football, the Edward Jones Dome hosted a wide variety of events. Big-name performers such as U2, The Rolling Stones, Metallica, One Direction and Beyoncé all performed in the venue. Other sporting events have taken place in the dome, such as the 2005 NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament Final Four, Monster Jam and Stadium Super Truck series. In 2016, the facility hosted its first Gateway Dirt Nationals event, featuring late-model and modified races on the largest indoor oval track in the U.S.
