Since 1939, Old Tucson Studios has provided the setting for hundreds of major motion pictures, hosting Hollywood legends including John Wayne, Ronald Reagan, Kirk Douglas and Harrison Ford. Sabino Canyon is situated in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains, surrounded by the Coronado National Forest. Motorized vehicles are not allowed on the paved road through the canyon, but tram tours are available.
