Along the French Broad River you’ll find Seven Islands State Birding Park. The park was created for birdwatching and opened in 2014. The diverse landscapes and river are home to more than 180 species of birds. In addition, the park features canoe/kayak boat launch sites, eight miles of hiking trails, and biking and fishing.
